pod or a survival pod falls under this classification as a defensive arm.

This unit is 7 Ft Tall and each section is 8 ft wide and 40 ft long connected
together by a hallway.
Total unit size is 7Ft by 8F by 86Ft long.

We can build these units at any size, large or
small.
These units go deep in the ground, unlike a
typical storm shelter, a deep earth survival pod is for things other then
storms, this is a serious survival unit. With neck sizes ranging from 2ft to 4 feet, the body of this unit is
well within range to keep you safe in any type of situation. These units are
extremely heavy duty and backfilled with 3000PSI concrete. All survival units
are built with a 3/16th steel body, Dual impact doors, the entry door is similar
to our steel shelter line, a tested steel with a dual 3 point
locking systems
On competitors websites these units are close
to 2x as much as ours with the same specs or less. We build these units to exact
customers requests. Bunk Beds, counters, separated rooms as well as hallway
connectors to put two units together for a underground living space. Typical
living units are 7T 8W 30L and weigh over 17000lbs after installed and
backfilled with concrete, these units weigh over 35000lbs. We can also build
smaller units, and drop the unit from 3/16th to 10 gauge steel to save money.
Stairs- When you walk down the stairs to the
unit, there is another door with 3 deadbolts and a impact absorbing material inside.
Shelter, the neck on the shelter unlike normal
storm shelters sits 20 inches higher then normal, this is to get as much dirt as
possible over the shelter for protection against radiation or any other issue at
hand.
Concrete, after the hole is dug for the
shelter, instead of backfilling the entire shelter with dirt like a storm
shelter, we pour concrete half way up the walls, we brace the inside with 2x4
wood to keep the heavy concrete from bowing in the walls while it sets.
These units are extremely heavy duty and the
smallest unit weighs in at 5,000 lbs, like a vault underground to keep you safe.
Obviously this unit will protect you from ANY
type of weather because its a extremely overbuilt storm shelter in essence, but
will also defend you and your loved ones from other issues that may arrive in
this rapidly changing world we live in.
Options-
if you choose to purchase an NBC air filtration
system we will fit the Pod for the pipes you will need and a 3/4" threaded
nipple to run electrical conduit into the Pod. By purchasing your unit you will
save money and have the full warranty in your name. We can provide a list of
vendors for your shopping convenience.
Seating, Bunks, Carpeting. All units come with
seating , sleep bunks and carpet included, you tell us what you want inside,
and we will make it happen for you and your family.
Costs, Surf the net, look up similar units,
make sure its apples for apples and you'll see we are close to half the price.
Installation. Our pros can install it, or you
can. The units have 4 inch over hangs of solid steel at the bottom of both ends,
after you dig the hole and level the shelter with a grade laser, secure the
walls from bowing, pour the concrete, let it set, and backfill in the morning.
We can install it, or do it yourselfers can.
Quality, we have been in the storm shelter
business for a long time, we have designed and tested all our models in
fiberglass and steel, we have taken our doors to Texas Tech for wind testing, we
have ZERO unhappy customers and are proud of that fact. We will be with you
during the entire process as well as after the sale.
Sizes, we can build these units custom sized
based upon customers needs.
A standard small size would be 7 Ft tall, 6 Ft
wide, 8 feet long, about 48 sq ft, in storm shelters FEMA guidelines are 6 sq ft
per person, please keep in mind when you request a quote that you want to be
comfortable in your survival pod, I would plan on 8-10 ft per person for comfort
for long stays. We can also build these units in 7 FT tall and 8FT wide instead
of 6 Wide and can go as long as 50 feet in length. Custom orders can include
whatever you can think of, shelves? a small storage space? whatever you need let
us know.
Why 7 feet tall? Well ,unlike storm shelters
tested at F5, in a survival situation we have to add a extra door at the bottom
and the door is 6.6 tall.
